Our Story
Or-Lag started as a company 8 years ago. In Mexico, we have our first store, and in the USA, we have had our e-commerce store for less than a year.
Jaime de Lara Novella, born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, on May 3, 1960, became a Mechanical Electrical Engineer at ITESM Campus Laguna, graduating in 1982. He is the founder and CEO of two companies in La Laguna: Or-Lag and Cann-Lag.
Engineer De Lara started a family in Torreón, Coahuila, which includes him, his wife, and their three children. When his second daughter was born, she experienced clinical difficulties, suffering from illnesses and a significantly weakened immune system. She had seizures, high fever, and other physical problems, even with a simple seasonal cold. Upon recognizing this, he began working on different investigation protocols to reinforce her immune system using two varieties of oregano (Poliomintha Longuiflora and Lippia Graveolens). After a few months of working on this protocol, several new properties of the plant were revealed, including:
- Antioxidant
- Antibiotic
- Fungicide
- Anti-inflammatory
- Analgesic
One of these specific protocols was designed to combat Candida. Various products have been developed, such as ovules, suppositories, oil for vaping, and ointments, which are used for more medically specific illnesses.
In the latest tests, small fractions of oregano oil have been used to create a homogeneous mixture with cannabis oil to enhance its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antibiotic, and fungicidal effects—all in the same dropper bottle.
